Beckham in Peckham! Former England captain joins Only Fools and Horses cast for Sport Relief special

David Beckham is joining the Trotters – however, he is not coming out of retirement to play for Bolton but starring alongside Del Boy and Rodney in a one-off Only Fools and Horses special for Sport Relief.
The former England captain, who grew up in Leytonstone, east London just a few miles north of where the programme is set in Peckham, is appearing alongside the show’s original cast members Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst.
The sketch will show the three sitting in a greasy spoon cafe, with Jason and Lyndhurst's characters Del Boy and Rodney Trotter dressed in the same outfits they wore during the programme’s original run.

Former Manchester United star Beckham, who retired from football last year, has since returned to live in London following spells at Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and PSG.
It is said he is a huge fan of the show, which counted more than 20million viewers at the height of its popularity in the 1980s and 1990s.
The sketch, which was filmed this month, will be shown on Friday March 21.
It comes more than 10 years after the classic comedy was last shown on television, a one-off Christmas special in 2003.

The sitcom, about two London market traders, was an enormous success in Britain, where it was broadcast on BBC1 between 1981 and 1991 and made stars out of Jason and Lyndhurst.
Beckham, 38, previously considered buying the back door of the famous three-wheeled Robin Reliant car driven by Del Boy and Rodney, after it was put up for auction in 2007.
At the time he was said to be keen to hang the piece of merchandise in his Los Angeles mansion, but was said to have been put off the idea by his wife Victoria.
