Former Nigerian International, Sunday Daniel, has tipped the Super Eagles to emerge victorious at the ongoing 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), in South Africa.
The Eagles finished second in Group A and are set for a quarter-final clash against Morocco on Saturday.
“The last match against South Africa was well executed because the players were purposeful,” Daniel, who played professional football in Cyprus, Austria and Germany, told SuperSport.com.
Daniel equally applauded the attack for their accuracy in front of goal.
A good striker doesn’t waste chances. When a chance is wasted, it’s difficult to get another. The strikers maximized opportunities that came their way,” the former Mighty Jets, JIB Rock and Leventis United forward said to SuperSport.com
Daniel, who played with Super Eagles manager, Stephen Keshi and his assistant, Daniel Amokachi, in the 1990s, is now a Jos based legal practitioner.
